With the advent of the Right to Education Act 2010, all schools in our country are, by law, expected to take marginalized children including children with disabilities. Orkids with an aim to expedite this process has developed hand-holding programs for schools to make the learning environments inclusive.
These programs include not only improvising academic learning environments but also non academic settings, administration and operating systems and the biggest barrier of them all, attitudes of the staff, children and parent body. Inclusion is a mindset and we believe that it cannot be exercised in parts. We aim to change all cogs in the wheel of the Inclusion process.
